I tend not to write too much about Politics nor Religion as it is just.. well people can get awful heated and passionate about it and it isn’t good for business. That being said, I found an interesting blog on the Democratic race about sexism in society and politics in general.
Here’s an excerpt: I won’t miss reading another treatise by a man or woman, of the left or right, who says that sexism has had not even a teeny-weeny bit of influence on the course of the Democratic campaign. To hint that sexism might possibly have had a minimal role is to play that risible “gender card.” Most of all, I will not miss the silence.Interesting right? Now before you get all on your mighty horse.. let me state my reason for posting. No I do NOT agree with everything the blogger talked about, but I am sick of the Democratic Race! Since the beginning it has been race this and sexism that. It is like we are in Kindergarden and John McCaine is just lapping it up! It sucks! I don’t want another Republican President, especially one that doesn’t agree with a SINGLE view I do and yet that is our option. This Presidential race isn’t a race.. it is just lame that we as a society are letting them treat each other like a bunch of dogs.
Can’t we grow up? Please? Lets stop the hate! The Political race should be about who would be suited the best to do the job.. and our choices look like CRAP AGAIN! Their race and gender NEVER should have been an issue. This is our problem with society.. we strive for NO racism and NO sexism and yet the media including talk shows and comedians shove them down our throats. It’s a sad state!
Honestly it is like picking the worst of three evils… grrr Just makes me not want to vote! I am so frustrated with the state of our government! I think I am going to vote for the Governator … (and yes I know he isn’t allowed), but he is a better choice than any of them!
